As of November 1, 2019, Please Be Seated is a 501c(3) Non-Profit Corporation. We are thrilled at being awarded this tax-exempt status as we continue to work for the Montgomery County Maryland public transit community. In addition, we are also registered with the State of Maryland as a tax-exempt non-profit corporation.

This means that all donations are considered tax-exempt, charitable donations. As of this post, the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search (https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/) still does not list Please Be Seated within its online search. However, if you email info@solteszco.com, you can request our IRS Letter of Determination to verify our tax-exempt status.
